Chris Caurla is an investigative journalist covering migration and conflict.

He co-launched Don't Drink the Milk, a history podcast that reached the top five in the U.S. charts, and contributed to Planet A, one of YouTube’s most successful environmental channels. As a photographer, his work has appeared on Hyperallergic, West Side Rag, and Al Jazeera. His reporting for Deutsche Welle—and in collaboration with The Guardian and Netra News—has uncovered corruption and abuse across Asia, Africa, and Europe.

Chris's stories have reached millions, earned international recognition, and been cited in EU parliamentary committees. He has received awards including the Asian Broadcasting Union UNICEF Award, the AFP-USA Award, the Human Rights Press Award, and a Pulitzer Center grant to investigate dissent within Israel’s army.
He is currently based in New York City, where he reports on immigration.
